RYSA Major League Coaches,

Due to the extending circumstances surrounding our ability to provide some level of game activities for major league players, the board met on May 6th to decide a plan of action going forward. It was decided at this time to request all referee fees to be returned to the RYSA office either through unsigned/uncashed RYSA check originally issued, cash, money order, or cashier's check brought to the office.

Once the referee fees have been collected from the coach and accounted for, the coach will receive their team's player refund checks.  Each player will receive a full refund of their registration fee this season via a check from RYSA. It will be the coaches responsibility to get the refund checks to their team's parents. The RYSA office is located at 5211 Gordon Smith Dr. The office hours are 8am - 4pm Monday through Friday.

We do apologize for this unfortunate turn of events, however we feel it is the fairest thing to do for the majority of Major league players and their families.

We hope to see all of you return in the Fall.

Board of Directors

RYSA Minor League Coaches,

As all of you are aware there have been many announcements of late affecting our community and the restrictions we have been faced with this spring and now summer. Unfortunately there still is not enough information available to our governing bodies to allow us to make a decision on our extended play plan.

In an effort to prepare for the rapid deployment of a shortened season we are asking that all remaining referee fees be returned to the RYSA office by the coach via cash, unsigned/uncashed RYSA check that was originally issued, money order, cashier's check,
or Venmo (via RowlettYouth-SoccerAssociation).

In the event that we are able to schedule game type play, we will arrange for referees to be paid directly.  The RYSA office is located at 5211 Gordon Smith Dr.  Our office hours are M-F 8am-4pm.

Thank you for your patience during these challenging times.  We are proactively working through every option still available to us and any new ones that come into view as information comes in. We commit to continued communications as our plans further develop.

SafeSport Certification Tips

  • The Access Code works (NTSSA has checked it and it is valid).
  • Do Not Copy & Paste the Code.  Make sure to type the code in the correct field.
  • Some devices will reject the code, due to the type of internet that is supporting that device.  If your phone rejects the code, try a desktop computer, and vice versa.
  • Microsoft Edge does not seem to support the code.  Try to use Chrome or FireFox.
  • Make sure to use the same name and email address that you are registered in Got Soccer.  If the name or email doesn't match, it will not link to your Coach or Team Manager account.
  • If you still run into issues after trying these tips, please reach out to for assistance.

FIFA 11+

The “FIFA 11+ ” is a complete warm-up program to reduce injuries among male and female football players aged 14 years and older. The program was developed by an international group of experts, and its effectiveness has been proven in a scientific study. Teams that performed the “FIFA 11+ ” at least twice a week had 30-50% fewer injured players. The program should be performed, as a standard warm-up, at the start of each training session at least twice a week, and it takes around 20 minutes to complete. Prior to matches, only the running exercises (parts 1 and 3) should be performed. For all exercises, correct performance is of great importance. Therefore, the coach should supervise the program and correct the players if necessary.
