Rowlett Youth Soccer Association: Registration Information

Player Registration Check List

To be considered an active/registered player and be eligible to enter the draft or return to a previous team the following items MUST be completed: Register with the league via on line or in person, payment in full, and for NEW player’s birth certificate and / or player release form.

· Due to the way RYSA is required to form team via the draft special team placement requests are NOT accepted. Players in the same household within the same age bracket will be placed on the same team.

Two ways to register:

1. Register online @ Player Registration

*New players must submit BIRTHCERTIFICATE by February 10, 2008 to be eligible for the draft.

*New players who live outside Rowlett (75088, 75089) but submit a PLAYER RELEASE form by February 10, 2008 to eligible for the draft. You can find the player release form by clicking on this link individual player reg form Spring 2008.doc.

*New players may fax birth certificates and / or releases to the RYSA offices 214- 607-4682 ONLY.

(Release form: RYSA is required by North Texas Soccer Association to obtain a player release form from any player who does not resided in Rowlett. This form must be signed by the home playing association. For example, if a player lives in Garland or Sache, but wants to play soccer in Rowlett they must obtain a player release form and Garland Soccer Association must sign releasing that player.)

Local Soccer Associations: Garland – GSA, Rockwall – Rockwall YMCA, Wylie – WSA ** Office hours vary by league you will need to contact them early to ensure time for processing.

2. Register in person.

Complete a player membership form at the office or print off the website and mail or walk in to the office the membership form, payment, and for NEW players a copy of a birth certificate and/ or player release if you live outside of Rowlett (75088, 75089).

* NO faxed membership forms will be accepted. RYSA office location: 5211 Gordon Smith Rd. Rowlett, TX.

*New Player: A new player is defined as any player who did not play soccer in RYSA in Spring or Fall of 2007. This includes a player who has never played, a former RYSA player who may have played several seasons ago. Players who only missed one or more season will still enter as "New Player", these players may later return to their prior team provided the parents contact the age group director, the team is not full and the coach authorizes the return.
