Spring 2024 Coach/Team Manager Registration

ALL volunteers are required to pass a North Texas sanctioned background check. Please complete the background check inside your GotSoccer Coach/Manager profile during the online registration using the link below.
If you have taken SafeSport within the last year, you can take the SafeSport Refresher under your coaching profile. Remember, you cannot be placed on a roster without a current SafeSport certification.

Practice & Uniforms
- Please be sure to get in contact with ALL of your players to attempt to coordinate the best days and times to hold practice. However, it is ultimately up to the coach where and when to hold practice.
- Uniforms – As the coach, you are responsible for coordinating with the parents to pick out a uniform and getting it ordered. The uniform cost is not part of the registration fee and must be collected separately for each player. Remember there must be a player number on the back of the jersey, and RYSA recommends you avoid putting names on the jersey.
Please note: If you are using RYSA patches, they iron on the left sleeve.
The office has balls, cones, bibs, field flags, and patches.

Keep in mind that as coaches, we are called to do our best to develop our players while also striving to improve coaching ability and methods. Within RYSA, you have help! You can find age specific (6U/8U/10U/12U) practice plans and games on the North Texas Soccer Coaching Resources page using this link (North Texas Coaching Resources). Click the corresponding button for your age group.
Please use the document above to determine the correct amount to pay the referee teams. Also, please do not forget, the referee team is not expected to make change, so you should have exact change in the amounts that will be easy for the team to pay each person.
*Please note for the Minor leagues (4u, 5u, 6u, 7u, 8u), coaches will NOT receive a referee check and will NOT pay referees. RYSA will pay referees directly.
Coaches' Game Feedback Form
- Download evaluation form below
- Evaluate each Referee as you see things evolve before, during, and after the game.
- Identify 2-3 key positive points and 2-3 key constructive points then write them down.
- Once game completed, type up your written notes into the downloaded form.
- Email the completed form to: assignor@rowlettsoccer.org, vp_ad@rowlettsoccer.org
- Consult with Referee Assignor Richard Moreno if you have any questions around the forms and/or the process.
- Evaluation form must be completed and emailed within 48 hours of game completion date/time.
